BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT |

The Fairfax Board of Adjustment is a five member volunteer board that hears requests concerning the zoning code regulations. If someone wants to do a project that some aspect is not allowed by the zoning code, the person can request a variance or a special exception. The Board reviews the code, the request, and listens to citizen input. They decide if the property owner will be granted special permission to do what they request. This board only meets when they have a request filed. Members serve a five year term. |
