The Fairfax Library Board of Trustees is a nine member volunteer board that supervises the library. Seven members must reside within the City of Fairfax and two are appointed from the surrounding service area. Members serve a six year term. They hold their meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at the library. Their meetings begin at 7:00 PM. Agendas are posted at the post office, library, and city hall. The Board decides how to spend the library budget, sees to the care of the library building, supervises the employees, and administers library programs. |
