The City Council meets the second Tuesday of each month for their regular meeting. Special meetings are called as needed. The meetings are held at 525 Vanderbilt Street in city hall. The meetings usually begin at 7:00 PM. Notice of a City Council meeting is posted 24 hours in advance at the post office, library, and city clerk’s office. City Council minutes are published in the Cedar Rapids Gazette and available by clicking the links below. New ordinances are posted for ten days at the post office, library, and city clerk’s office.
